Welcome!

I’m so thrilled to welcome you to our new website! A true labor of love for many months, the Edible Madison team hopes that it becomes a place that you visit often. We plan to keep the site fresh with articles and recipes that you’ll only be able to find here. Best of all, this new site gives our team more opportunities to provide you with up-to-date information about food and farming topics as they unfold.

As you browse, you’ll find all of the content from our past print editions at your fingertips as well as some new stuff too. In our Eat Seasonal section, you’ll have access to what’s in season and cooking and storage tips for more than 130 foods produced in our region. Make plans to get to know your local farmers by using our interactive Farmers Market directory. Visit our Events section regularly to mark your calendar with food and farming activities.

We envision this site as a place that will inspire you to deepen your connection with food and the earth. And we aim to keep you well informed and well fed while you’re at it.
