YumYum Fest: Collectively Delicious

On September seventh, more than 30 Madison area chefs will set up shop in Central Park, where they’ll serve up their best at a unique new event put on by the equally new Madison Area Chefs Network (MACN). Created in November 2013 to foster and grow the community of Madison chefs, the group of around 50 member-chefs plans to use their collective voice to raise the profile of local food in Madison, speak out on issues and create community discussions.

Their first event, YumYum Fest, will not be just another tasting—each chef will prepare a special dish that will feature the season’s local food abundance. Good food will be accompanied by good music and familyfriendly activities, with proceeds going to help MACN plan and host future food education programming and events. Tickets are on sale now—visit Yum2Fest.com!
