Details
Mesclun is a mix of fresh, young greens, the composition of which varies depending on what’s available. It will often include arugula, leaf lettuces, young spinach, chervil, chard, endive, mustard greens, dandelion greens, radicchio and other leafy vegetables. It typically has a spicy or peppery flavor. Mesclun is a cool-weather crop and does best when grown in spring through early summer and then replanted in early fall.
