Cranberry Relish
This cranberry relish is just as it should be: not too tart and not too sweet. It’s just right as an accompaniment for Macon’s recipe for roast turkey.
Ingredients
16 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
6 tbsp. fresh ginger, chopped
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
½ small red onion, diced
½ orange, seeds removed
2 cups orange juice
½ cup sugar
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer until it reaches a spreadable consistency.

Remove orange. Transfer relish to a food processor and process until smooth.
