Mulled Apple Cider
For a cool autumn day warm up, simmer this mulled apple cider on your stovetop and fill your home with the unmistakable aromas of fall.
Ingredients
1/2 gallon apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
2 Tbsp. thinly sliced ginger
6 cardamom pods
6 black peppercorns
6 cloves
1 dried hot chile pepper (optional)
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer gently for 30 minutes.

Serve in your favorite mug and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
