Make veggies crave-able while adding probiotics from yogurt and healthy fats by making your very own ranch dressing! Store-bought dressings (even the “all-natural” kind) typically have undesirable ingredients like processed oils and thickeners, and making your own is so easy!

Ingredients

1 cup plain whole milk yogurt

½ cup sour cream

2 tablespoons buttermilk (can substitute heavy cream)

2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon dried dill or 2 tablespoons fresh dill

2 teaspoons lemon juice

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste

Directions

1

Place all the ingredients in a bowl or storage container and whisk together until thoroughly combined.

2

Season to taste and refrigerate until ready to use.

Suggestions

Add more buttermilk to thin for a dressing or less for a creamier dip.
