Ingredients

12 large medjool dates, pitted

6 slices bacon, halved crosswise

4 ounces crumbled Roth Buttermilk Blue®

Preheat the oven 400 degrees F. Place 12 toothpicks in a small bowl filled with water and let soak for 15 minutes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and fit with a wire rack; set aside.

2

Halve dates lengthwise being careful not to cut all the way through.

3

Place a small amount of cheese, about a ½ a tablespoon or less depending on the size of the date, in the center of each date.

4

Wrap a piece of bacon around each date. Secure bacon with a toothpick. Place the dates on the prepared baking sheet.

5

Bake until the bacon is cooked through, about 20 to 25 minutes.
