REAP Food Group launched the original Farm Fresh Atlas in southern Wisconsin in 2002, and over the past 15 years, it has grown tremendously. Today, you can find atlases in all but the northernmost counties of the state.

REAP Food Group launched the original Farm Fresh Atlas in southern Wisconsin in 2002, and over the past 15 years, they have shared the model and the trademarked name with other like-minded grassroots organizations, which have expanded the atlas to include four additional regions. Today, you can find Farm Fresh Atlases in all but the northernmost counties of the state.
The atlas is an indispensable, comprehensive resource for the food conscious. Choose a local, sustainable restaurant for your next date night; find a U-pick farm for a kid-friendly activity; see which farmers markets accept SNAP benefits; and find farms that grow specific crops. Every farm, business and organization listed in the atlas pledges that it meets a list of criteria, including fair and safe working conditions, family or cooperative ownership, humane animal care practices, land stewardship, and more.
A fully searchable Southern Wisconsin Farm Fresh Atlas is available online at www.reapfoodgroup.org/farm-fresh-atlas, and the website also includes a list of locations where you can pick up a print version.
