NessAlla Kombucha is celebrating a decade of brewing their delightful Madison-based kombucha with a new look—on their bottles, that is. Between the colorful labels and what’s inside the bottles, it’s a rainbow of “booch” for the senses.
NessAlla Kombucha is celebrating a decade of brewing their delightful Madison-based kombucha with a new look—on their bottles, that is. Between the colorful labels and what’s inside the bottles, it’s a rainbow of “booch” for the senses.

NessAlla Kombucha was founded in 2008 by Vanessa Tortolano and Alla Tsypin, both certified herbalists, and their brewery was one of the first craft kombucha breweries in the United States. They use organic, fair-trade ingredients and are committed to earth-friendly practices. Over the past 10 years, NessAlla has increased from five gallons a week to 2,000 gallons a week and outgrown two spaces…soon to be three. In January, they’ll move from their current brewery on Madison’s south side to the renovated historic Garver Feed Mill on the near east side, where they’ll join other local food businesses at this new community hub.
From all of us at Edible Madison, congratulations to NessAlla for reaching this milestone!
