Soil Sisters Farm Tours, August 10

Pull out the mud boots and pack a cooler! Seven women-led family farms in and around Green County will host farm tours on August 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, called Soil Sisters, is organized by the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service’s (MOSES) Rural Women’s Project. Soil Sisters highlights women farmers in south-central Wisconsin who are championing small scale, diversified, community-focused agriculture, from emus and eggplants to B&Bs and renewable energy.
