Take a Walk in Her Boots

Notable Edibles

Wisconsin’s women farmers and food-based business owners are invited to a new workshop series designed the way women like to learn—from each other. Hosted by the Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) Rural Women’s Project, the peer-led “In Her Boots: Sustainable Farming For Women, By Women” workshops will be held statewide on women-owned farms. Each date will feature different topics, from value added products and enterprises to organic production to agritourism. Author and “ecopreneur” Lisa Kivirist directs the MOSES Rural Women’s Project and will facilitate the workshops.
