Maple Glazed Bacon

This cherrywood smoked bacon is brought to the next level with dark maple syrup before being added to the Spring Blini Brunch Board.
Ingredients
1 lb thick cut cherrywood smoked bacon
¼ cup dark maple syrup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, lay out the bacon. Drizzle the bacon with maple syrup, cover with another sheet of parchment and lay a second rimmed pan on top of the bacon. This presses the bacon while it cooks to keep the bacon from curling or baking unevenly.

Roast in the preheated oven until the bacon is cooked through, and crisped to your desired doneness, you can check the doneness by picking up the top pan. 50 - 65 min.
