The Local Smoothie
This recipe takes full advantage of the local bounty! Blend it in moments to enjoy this refreshing, healthy smoothie by Anna Bates of Tallgrass Kitchen.
Ingredients
1 apple, cored and chunked
½ cup spinach
1 celery rib
1 carrot
1 cup blueberries
1 cup strawberries
1 cup apple cider
Water, add for desired thickness
Directions

Whir all ingredients in blender until very smooth.

If smoothie is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time, blending between each addition, until desired thickness is reached.
